In depth

Verdict

MR SUNDOWNER arrives in the best form. He’s won two of his last three starts now including over today’s trip at Musselburgh last time and stands out in a weak contest. Correggio had been threatening to score before a poor effort at Thirsk when behind runner-up Steccando though the latter was still beaten seven lengths. Shamar journeys over from Ireland attempting to end a long losing run, Gold Merlion remains unpredictable and Aqua Libre slides further down the weights.
