Another tricky race for punters to call but Al Shamara, Glendening and Imperial Lucky look to be the leading lights and the vote is given to Glendening. The selection ran a fair race last time over 6f but the run that really stands out for him was his previous effort at Thirsk when an unlucky close fourth behind Suhezy over tonight's trip. The return to 7f should be in his favour and if he can run up to that level here he should take plenty of beating. Al Shamara should give him the most to think about as she is eased in grade here. However, this filly is far from straightforward and we are happy to oppose her on this occasion. Imperial Lucky is hard to put forward on the back of her disappointing effort at Ripon last time. However, the step-up in trip may see her in a better light and she is one to note in the market. Miss Gandy does boast a recent win next to her name so she is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Glendening.
