      Verdict

BAEZ (NAP) may be a long-standing maiden but she represents a yard that have struck a rich seam of form and the handicapper hasn’t penalised her for a fair effort at Musselburgh nine days ago. Arabescato is well in at present and any money for John Butler’s grey should be respected while The Dancing Poet holds claims on his most recent outing at Doncaster and could prove his Newcastle flop to be all wrong. Cold Henry won two races at this track last year but the assessor has been a little petulant in his allocating a further rise for placing at Pontefract last month. Lord Torranaga has gone well here in the past and cannot be ruled out.
