ARIZONA JOHN was always travelling strongly when landing a gamble in an amateurs' race at Doncaster 10 days ago. He has a penalty to carry here but has won off a higher mark in the past and there's no reason why he won't be in the firing-line again with Declan Cannon taking off 3lb. Patavium loves it around here and is fit from a campaign over hurdles. He's another for the short-list but Chilly Filly has her fair share of weight on her reappearance and Pintrada may also need this. Dark Dune is better over further but Cape Rising could go well as he's very lightly-raced and has the potential to hold his own in better company.
