ALIENTO was having her first start for Michael Dods and returning from a long break when scoring over this trip on fast ground at Thirsk so a 5lb rise shouldn't be insurmountable and this doesn't look as competitive as Division One. Uncle Charlie, a dual winner at Carlisle last summer, has gradually dropped in the ratings and showed more dash at Pontefract last time. The veteran Tom's Anna hasn't won since 2013 and connections won't be happy that she's been raised 2lb for finishing second at Nottingham. Fard has never won and continues to struggle from this sort of mark and though Fingal's Cave has won here he's on a very long losing run.
