In depth

Verdict

This may revolve about how useful the two newcomers prove to be. Classic-winning trainer George Boughey unveils Diamond Ranger with Ben Curtis booked and it may be significant that the son of Kodiac is the yard's sole runner on the card. Karl Burke's Sir Robin is also well bred and the majority of those with form do not set a demanding standard but MAHANAKHON (NAP) has shaped well on both starts to date at Redcar and Hamilton and possibly ran into a useful type on the latter track. He was comfortably clear of the rest that day and his running style indicated that this drop back to seven furlongs will prove favourable.
