This is quite a weak contest that may fall to Jeropino, Cool Chilli and Compadre should be capable of joining in the action. Jeropino has shown plenty of promise in all his outings over fences. He contested a much better race than this last time when third to Thieves'Glen and he looks the percentage call against this very poor bunch. The best of the opposition could be Cool Chilli who finished third of five in a novice event at Doncaster last time. He is very lightly raced for a seven-year-old so is entitled to improve. Compadre disappointed last time but his previous effort when a close up fourth in a handicap at Ayr reads well in the context of this event, and if on a going day he should be involved in the finish. The others make very little appeal and so it doesn't look too difficult a task for Jeropino who is a confident choice
