Verdict

Goldan Jess scored over 2m on the Polytrack in January and an apprentice's allowance negates a 4lb rise. He should be thereabouts again but a chance is taken on BRUNELLO lasting home. The latter finished fourth in better company over 1m4f here last time and David O'Meara's charge gets the nod as he attempts today's trip for the first time. Operateur is another stepping up in distance after a third at Newcastle but Bijou Dan has been placed over course and distance on more than one occasion and has every chance off today's lower mark.
