This looks a hot little contest for a Catterick maiden, and Sir Mark Prescott runs an interesting newcomer in the shape of Audacious Prince. A half-brother to eight winners, including Derby winner Oath, (he himself holds an entry in the Vodafone Derby), he runs here in preference to a couple of engagements later on this week. However he may have to play second fiddle to the more experienced Lodge Keeper, who turned in a sound effort behind two well regarded runners at Leicester last week. He, like the Prescott runner, also holds an engagement in the Derby. The well drawn Pantone, can be expected to improve on her debut, while Sulzano, from the same family as Derby hero Lammtarra, is also expected to leave her debut effort behind. Dewhurst entry Bugatti Royale, is clearly held in high regard and must be noted if the market speaks in his favour.
