This has the look of a very moderate affair and Cyfrwys is given a tentative vote, ahead of Sessay and Weakest link. Bryn Palling's filly returns to maiden company following some promising efforts in handicaps. She was struck into behind at Lingfield last time so did well under the circumstances to finish a close up sixth behind Glencalvie. Her previous effort in maidens also bares close inspection and she does appear to have found an easy opportunity. Sessay is running much better than his form figures suggest. He was only beaten two and a quarter lengths in a very competitive handicap at Ayr last time and could be the one to bustle up the selection. Weakest Link something to find on official ratings but on bits and pieces of form could be good enough to run into a place. So in the main these are very disappointing horses, but Cyfrwys could prove the best of them and is given the nod.
