A tough finale with 18 going to post for a competitive race; it will be a big advantage to be drawn low and luck in running looks sure to play a major part in proceedings. Last year's winner Mr Bountiful has to defy a poor draw in stall 16, so we side with Glenrock ahead of Investment Force and Loner. Mr Bountiful is only three pounds higher in the weights this time around, so although he has to defy a poor high draw he should not be ruled out entirely. Investment Force finally got off the mark at Pontefract last time out. Mark Johnston's gelding has to drop back in trip but could not be ruled out from an in form stable. Loner, Jubilee Street, Zamyatina and Tedsdale Mac all have good low draws and must enter calculations, with the booking of Kieren Fallon particularly catching the eye on Loner. But we'll stick with Glenrock, who showed lots of speed to make virtually all of the running from a near impossible high draw at Chester last time out. Alan Berry's gelding still looks well handicapped on some of his old form and should appreciate the low draw in stall four.
