This looks to be a three horse race, and Forbearing is fancied to get the better of chief rivals Eton and Blackthorn. The latter should enjoy the return to claiming grade and likes a fast surface, while Eton has yet to visit the winner's enclosure this term but has run some solid races in defeat. Dandy Nicholls' gelding now meets Forbearing on two pounds better terms than for last month's narrow defeat at Carlisle, and looks a big danger to the selection, Forbearing. Sir Mark Prescott's six-year-old will enjoy the return to claiming grade and is proven on a fast surface. He is just fancied to confirm that Carlisle form with Eton, and that should be good enough to win here.
