Luskar, a full brother to the former high class staying novice Church Island is nominated to land this for the Davidson family with Nectar De Guye and Belem Ranger put forward for the placings. Luskar proved himself a class above the rest in his recent outing between the flags, with only four rivals behind but put up a performance that signalled he is a very exciting recruit to the hunter chase ranks. Nectar De Guye is another that has been in fine form between the flags without getting his head in front while Belem Ranger, a shock winner last time at Musselburgh, has the assistance of a capable amateur once again but is faces a stiff task with his welter burden. Shanteen Lass is another that deserves consideration but it is hard to see past Luksar.
