Verdict

A difficult race to round off the card in which Joshua's Gold, Smith N Allan Oils, Redoubtable and Mr Bountiful form the shortlist and the nomination is given to Smith N Allan Oils. The selection is thrown in on his best form and ran as though he was running back to that level last time at Yarmouth when sixth behind Concer Eto. This looks much easier and off his plummeting mark he is taken to score at a fair price. Joshua's Gold rates the main danger after he won last time when beating Boppy's Princess. However, he will find this harder dropping in trip and he looks opposable with his penalty, even if the first time visor sharpens him up. Redoubtable ran well when third behind Zeitzig at Thirsk last time over 6 furlongs and as he is equally effective over this trip he should go well. Mr Bountiful is a course and distance winner but he was a little disappointing last time and may be best watched at present and for the winner we return to Smith N Allan Oils.
