In depth

Verdict

Reverant Cust scored over a shorter trip here last month for which he’s been raised 6lb though has also won over track and trip in the past. But MANWELL landed a double at this time last year including this contest and a recent placed effort at Sedgefield suggests Sam England’s charge is set for a return to winning ways. Paddling passed the post first over course and distance just four days ago but was demoted to second and will be looking for recompense in this tougher contest while Knockrobin drops down in trip having placed over these fences in November though never looked like winning.
