Ben Haslam has two decent chances and the likely outsider of the pair, PHOENIX STRIKE, is worth a shot at the prices. He's taken time to get sorted over timber but his last three starts - and especially the last two - have indicated he's more than capable of landing an ordinary northern handicap. Richie McLernon will probably need to hold on to him for as long as possible on the long run home. Stablemate Thatbeatsbanagher has also found his form this year and should figure prominently along with Idilico. Keep a close eye on Native Choice in the market after a 300-day plus absence and Bolsover Bill would have a definite shout if forgiven a poor effort last time.
