Verdict

Course and distance scorer and likely pacemaker PRINCETON ROYALE is no good thing under a welter burden of 12-7 but is the best of these at his best by some way and hopefully Bryony Frost can keep the petrol gauge ticking long enough on the seemingly endless run-in at this unique venue. 2019 efforts at Haydock and Ascot read very well and he's preferred to Ballyvic Boru, runner-up in decent contests on both starts this term and clearly knocking on the door. The jury is out on Voix D'Eau who returns after wind surgery but course and distance winner Alderbrook Lad loves it round here and cannot be ruled out along with Lord Wishes.
