Verdict

All have a fair shout and a chance is taken with UHLAN BUTE despite him pulling up when last seen. However, the best of his efforts last season bring him very much into contention and he'll not be inconvenienced should conditions soften. The marathon trip is a slight concern but he's worth the risk. Joint topweight Henllan Harri has no stamina issues and the Bowen inmate merits respect alongside stable companion Cruising Bye at the other end of the handicap. Firebird Flyer is another with a major claim if staying the trip whilst Doing Fine was better last time and Silver Tassie is consistent. Al Co has a first run for a new yard and Mercers Court has looked in the grip of the handicapper on recent starts.
