A competitive contest for a decent purse with STORMING GALE expected to go close for the McCain-Maguire combination. The Revoque gelding reverts to this trip after a respectable effort over further at Kelso last time and the drop in distance could prove the key here. He remains acceptably handicapped off an unchanged mark and is just preferred to the consistent and genuine Diamond Frontier under talented conditional John Dawson. The pair are penalised 5lb for a recent success at Market Rasen, whilst Tasheba is also noted off a fair mark for the Leech-McLernon combination that enjoyed a winner here on Saturday evening. Temple Lord has place claims.
