Callmenewtown is unexposed over timber but nevertheless looks to face a tough task off topweight against decent opposition, of which ALLBARNONE receives narrow preference. Still a maiden over hurdles, the Kinsey charge has shown plenty of ability the last twice when upped in trip and it is his guaranteed stamina which makes him the one to beat here. Pulpitarian, also a maiden over timber, ran well enough at Perth last month to suggest he's capable of picking up a small handicap when also indicating that this step-up in trip will suit. He should go well, likewise Hurricane Rita, open to plenty of improvement at the age of five and who produced her best performance by far last time when an excellent second to Isaacstown Lad over a similar trip at Kelso. Lisa Harrison has her yard in good nick at present which brings Solway Prince into the equation too if handling this longer trip.
