Verdict

Fiftyonefiftyone looked on the upgrade when landing two chases in the spring for Oliver Sherwood but his form seems to have strangely deserted him subsequently. Kosta Brava has the assistance of the champion jockey but hasn't won for over two years whereas Sergeant Pink has developed into a most capable handicap chaser for Dianne Sayer. He's up to a new mark of 107 but is in fine nick at present and rates the main danger to BYGONES OF BRID. The topweight has to concede 23lb to the Sayer inmate but he's looked a natural over fences the last twice in novice company, winning by 28l and 12l respectively. He was especially impressive the last day when destroying a decent Hexham field and may just have too much class here despite the hefty weight concession.
