In depth

Verdict

Not a strong contest and it might be worth giving NATIVE CHOICE a chance despite uninspiring form figures. He's not performed badly on his two handicap starts and remains open to improvement over timber after just five runs. He's down a couple of pounds too and is worth a shot over this longer trip. Rock On Tommy has a similar profile except he's up three-quarters of a mile in trip and should be noted in the market as he's been a massive outsider on all starts. Excalibur has a shout if repeating the significant improvement shown last time under today's pilot and Grand Enterprise cannot be ruled out if ready to go on a first start since late November.
