Idilico was fancied to go well on his most recent visit to Cartmel so that was a disappointment given he’d caught the eye at Kelso earlier in the year. He’ll do well to reverse the form with FOREVER FORWARD despite the handicapper mischievously putting Peter Bowen’s four-year-old 1lb further up the weights and he is worthy of another chance. The pair will face off once again against Dan Gun though he has subsequently struggled off a revised mark. Olympus appreciated a step up in trip at Hexham and is respected. Ange Endormi was ignored in the betting on a first start for Barbara Butterworth and the former Ben Pauling inmate was to put up arguably his best performance for some time.
