Verdict

Course regular Tonto's Spirit found life demanding against better types in a hot race here on Monday and now, down in grade. finds himself heading the weights. This does looks a stronger opportunity, but LERMOOS LEGEND hit a four-time winning streak around this time last year and will be all the better for a first run for over 270 days in April. He gets the vote in the hope he's been prepared with this in mind. He scored by seven lengths here last summer from Sword Of Fate though the latter is 4lb better off now and rates a danger on the back of a recent Perth success. Ardera Cross is hit and miss but could contend if on a going day.
