        Verdict

        Where's Jeff has found only one too good at Beverley the last twice but he was only sixth in this last year off a similar mark. Highwaygrey hasn’t won in more than a year but is finally starting to slip down the handicap, though AYR POET has been in better form. The six-year-old has been mainly campaigned at Ayr this year but he should find this intermediate distance ideal and Mark Winn takes off a handy 3lb. Arranmore’s latest run at Thirsk was too bad to be true and Arkenstaar could also go well while Run Simba is the least exposed of these and took a big step forward in a visor at Ayr latest.
