        Verdict

        Kolossus is penalised for scoring at Ayr and the filly Gale Force Maya made a winning start on Tapeta at Newcastle earlier in the month. That should give an advantage to RAPTURE as she steps up in trip having placed in both starts so far over 5f at Beverley and Richard Fahey’s filly gets the nod. Northernpowerhouse is a similar type to the selection having gone close in a tight finish over the minimum trip at Beverley last time while Suppressor was beaten only a neck at Wolverhampton. Grimsdyke is a brother to the smart sprinter Mattmu among others and preferred to stablemate Highwaygrey of the newcomers.
