The card concludes with another low-grade event and narrow preference is for Exalted ahead of Geri Roulette, Sports Express and Chevin. Exalted is well in to the veteran stage of his racing career but is one of only a handful with solid recent form credentials having put together a string of decent efforts this term. Tommy Cuthbert's gelding was a convincing four-length winner of a minor event at Ayr in late May and showed he remains in good heart when a close second on a return visit to the track last time. Geri Roulette and Chevin both have winning form this season but this pair now look in the handicapper's grip judged on recent evidence. Sports Express ran above expectations when placed in a fair event over this trip at Haydock last time but remains a maiden over both codes and looks worth opposing once again with the consistent Exalted.
