A moderate contest and Lunar Leader is taken to come out on top while Retirement and Fingal Nights look the main dangers. The Lynda Stubbs-trained filly has reportedly undergone treatment on her teeth of late which has produced a marked improvement in her recent form with wins in a claimer at Ayr as well as a course and distance handicap success earlier in the month. The daughter of Mujadil was far from disgraced when runner-up in a useful event at Yarmouth last time and this consistent type should take the beating at this level. Retirement has held his form well of late and has claims on placed efforts at Nottingham and Redcar but is on a longish losing sequence and may prove vulnerable to a less exposed rival. Fingal Nights has good claims at the weights but this ex-Irish performer may require more cut in the ground to be seen at her best so Lunar Leader looks the safest option.
