This is a tricky three-year-old handicap, with not too much form to go on, but the lightly-raced Shibumi could just be good enough to see off Joshua's Gold, Boppys Princess and Delcienne. The latter was a very easy winner of a Brighton seller last month, and probably didn't appreciate the softer conditions when fifth to the shock winner Boppys Princess at Beverley last time, so could reverse the form on this faster surface. Roman The Park is a consistent type at this level, but may be in the handicapper's grip at the moment and one who is preferred at a likely big price is Joshua's Gold. He ran in a much better race at York last time and is sure to fare better in this company. However, he had earlier finished behind Shibumi at Lingfield, and Hughie Morrison has booked Tony Culhane to ride his filly, who gets the vote here. She was staying on well when fourth on her handicap debut and this extra furlong is sure to suit.
