In depth

Verdict

Here Comes The Man still has scope and may have benefited from a break. Carlo Du Berlais has won twice at Uttoxeter this summer but Lyrical Genius has disappointed since just beaten at Doncaster at the start of the year. All of FENLAND TIGER’s wins over hurdles last season came on soft going. He was successful on this card 12 months ago and gives the impression he’ll stay this longer trip. Anti Bridgie’s ability to last home is less certain but he also likes soft ground while Inis Oirr was well supported on his chasing bow at Kelso and led until unseating his rider.
