Verdict

The Ferry Master has had wind surgery since last seen but is too inconsistent to merit serious consideration. Mister Bells should strip fitter for a run at Kelso and Uptown Harry won on heavy going here in March. High Moon finally got off the mark at Newcastle in the spring and Readysteadybeau won at Ayr and Perth earlier in the year, beating Captain Quint on the latter occasion. SON OF THE SOMME beat Twoshotsoftequila at Sedgefield at the start of the year and is better off at the weights. He ran only once more after that but goes well fresh. This looks too short for Jet Legs nowadays while the four-year-old Jipcot is having a first run over fences in this country.
