The majority of these were below par last time but OUT THE HAT who showed very good speed before fading late on in the Great St Wilfrid consolation at Ripon when beaten under five lengths. He has his trip and ground and can defy top weight off a 1lb lower mark. Impeller makes some appeal off this mark if headgear has the desired effect but Tashgheel, an import from the Dermot Weld yard, is hard to assess and Bowman makes more appeal.
