The market is likely to favour Logsdail who made a pleasing debut when a close fifth in a York maiden a couple of weeks ago and looks a fair sort, but it may pay to take a chance on Mark Tompkins' Killala whose first effort at Kempton is far better than the bare figures might indicate. Leading the stands side group and going clear a furlong out, Killala was unfortunate to find that the group on the other side of the track had a distinct advantage but nevertheless showed a lot of ability and should be up to making amends here. Strong Will hinted at better to come on his debut at Redcar and should improve, a comment that also applies to Tim Easterby's Boss Man. Mark Johnston introduces Garros a US bred whose chance should be indicated by any market support for him.
