With Sue Smith's string in such good form of late you can't ignore PASS THE CLASS here who has the selection just ahead of Open de L'Isle and Marleybow. While the selection's jumping has been a little sketchy since switching to chasing he showed his true ability last time only finding a Howard Johnson hotpot too good. That came on heavy ground but he is just as effective on faster and a three pound reprieve in his mark makes him very competitive. Open de L'Isle has been running well this season in similar races and although this is a step up in trip for James Ewart's charge he shaped as if he should stay on his last run, which was off this mark in a race where the form is working out quite well. Marleybow looks dangerously well handicapped on the pick of his hurdles form and steps down in class here for his third start over fences. Manadam looks to be running off a competitive mark but may have to improve to score while Sue Smith's second string Teenando looks a little high in the weights so we take interest in her first string Pass The Class.
