In depth

Verdict

Carlisle bumpers often throw up useful sorts and there could be one or two on show here. The market will signpost the chances of the two Irish raiders - point-to-pointer Minella Mystics and newcomer Dr Sanderson - but both need to be kept on the right side. Midas Gold has not been since landing a bumper on debut in the autumn of 2016 and faces a tough task with his penalty after such an absence. Indian Opera and Big Bad Dream have already shown some ability but will need to improve to score here and it may be worth taking a punt on COURT DREAMING, who represents a yard that perform notably well in such contests. Market support would enhance confidence.
