        Verdict

        Kevin Ryan trained last year's winner so Strummer could go well though he was still beaten five lengths when second at Ayr last time. FIRST TO POST disappointed when sent off favourite at Hamilton back in May but he gets another chance here on his promising debut effort at Pontefract behind a subsequent Listed winner. With the remainder inspiring little confidence, it would be no surprise if the newcomers Kadooment Day and Reinforced got involved with slight preference for the latter.
