Xpo Universel has won just one of his 73 career starts so the Hexham third is hardly a reliable proposition, though has twice finished ahead of Wazowski recently. Canny Style is fit from the Flat and unexposed over hurdles so goes on the short-list while Saint Freule was second over course and distance in April on similar going. GREEN ZONE has done most of his winning at Perth but has run well twice at Kelso recently and this is also a stiff track. Lisa Harrison’s gelding won’t be stopping in the closing stages and could outstay these.
