Verdict
Seductive Moment made a successful debut when well supported at Windsor but ran poorly under a penalty here which didn't look his form. Xtara was a 66/1 chance in that latter race but belied his odds with a fine effort, staying on late when the race was over. Theatre Of War looked in need of experience at Hamilton but picked up nicely once getting the hang of the job and looks certain to get into contention. SWISS PEAK didn't attract much support at Newmarket but made a very encouraging debut and the form is working out well so he'll be difficult to beat. Both Mac Ailey and Simon's Smile hail from yards in top form so any market moves should be noted.
