It has taken Hotham a long time to regain winning form but he did it niceley at Pontefract last time and he can follow up this afternoon, Monte Major and Throw The Dice could be the main dangers. The selection was a well regaraded two-year-old when with Henry Candy but had struggled since joining the current stable. However he took advantage of a dropping handicap mark to beat some seasoned campaigners last time and if in the same mood he will be hard to beat. Monte Major also returned to winning ways last time out when landing a competitive handicap at Wolverhampton. His recent turf run at Goodwood also stands up to close inspection so he has to be a big threat. Throw The Dice is not the force of old but hasn't run abad race this season and should again be in the shake up. Kings College Boy is proving very frustrating to follow this season but is very well treated at present and cannot easily be dismissed. However there was alot to like about Hotham's victory last time and a he can defy a six pound penalty.
