In depth

Verdict

An awful contest where Quadropenia, Quaker Boy, Hillbilly Cat and Seesawmilu form the short list and we take the latter to prevail. The Eric Alston-trained selection came good last time on the polytrack at Wolverhampton, where this trip looked ideal. A late developer, we can readily dismiss his previous form and provided he handles the ground he can follow up. Quaker Boy is entitled to get competitive here and drops back in trip to 6f. A repeat of his latest effort at Musselburgh would give him a good chance, but he didn't enjoy cut on his only previous try and is opposed. Quadrophenia is another who prefers better ground and has largeyl been kept to the minimum trip so far, while Hillybilly Cat drops back in trip and it is doubtful if he has the speed to take the prize. In summary then Seesawmilu is taken to make it back to back wins.
