    In depth

    Verdict

Singe Anglais has been here three times and won twice. He couldn't get to the surprise winner in a ladies' race here last time but still looks on a fair mark. Captain Jameson has been in good form all summer and got his reward at Ayr. He's won off much higher marks so should get into contention while the ultra-consistent Motawaazy has won twice over 7f this summer and shows enough pace to make a bold bid from the front. OBEE JO gets the nod as he has won here and at Catterick since May and his last two runs have been in stronger company but Marvel has never won in 15 starts. There are plenty of others with chances in a very open handicap.
