        Verdict

        Hart Stopper has gone up 2lb since second to Flying Pursuit at Ripon but is still nicely treated on his best form. However, he’s not as potentially well handicapped as NEVER IN PARIS, who is 6lb lower than when third in last year’s Ayr Bronze Cup. A useful apprentice takes off a further 5lb and Karl Burke’s filly gets her favoured conditions for the first time since third again at Redcar in November. Praxeology should be thereabouts but is probably better over an extra furlong while Latin Five has shown nothing since arriving from Ireland but End Zone and Hostelry will both improve for a comeback run and can’t be ignored.
