A large field goes to post for the first on the card but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Ashnaya, Willful Lord, College City and Jballingall and the confident vote is given to Ashnaya. The selection was a good second behind Green Ideal last time out, that form has since been franked and off the same mark here he is taken to score. Willful Lord rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Trenance but that was over a longer trip and with his penalty over this shorter trip he looks worth opposing at likely odds. College City has dropped to a handy mark and is from a yard in form but he is becoming hard to win with. Jballingall was behind Willful Lord last time and although he is better off at the weights he still has a little to find to score. Of the remainder Northern Rambler is from a yard in form and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Ashnaya.
