    Verdict

Funfair is a beautifully bred colt by Singspiel out of Cherry Hinton heroine Red Carnival and is also a half brother to Carnival Dancer. Sir Michael Stoute's charge has shown more than enough ability to get of the mark in a weak contest. Saladim, who caught the eye when a staying-on fourth over a mile in a Leicester maiden on his debut earlier in the month should appreciate the step up in trip and rates the main danger.
