Woodyates hails from a yard with a fair strike rate on this track and is a previous course and distance winner who acts well with cut in the ground. The five-year-old gave notice of a return to form with a close third at Newbury earlier in the month and should give another good account along Maycocks Bay. Michael Bell's in-foal filly was an impressive Nottingham winner over 9f on her return and shapes as though she will be suited by the step up in trip. Double Fare has been in good form on the all-weather but has not translated the same level of ability on turf but Jasmick should be sharper for her Newbury return and comes from an in-form stable.
