This claimer looks an ideal opportunity for Captain Jacksparra to get back to form but after some poor runs from him we make preference for course specialist ROWAN LODGE with General Feeling fancied for a place at a bigger price. The selection has won twice in three starts at this track and always seems to perform well in this company. He was a winner over a mile here last time out and although terms are not obviously in his favour he is on good form. That's something that can't be said off Captain Jacksparra who is on a long losing run. There aren't many excuses for his loss of form and while he has to be respected as the highest rated amongst moderate company his recent displays are off putting. General Feeling goes well over this trip and wouldn't be out of this based on his best form while Fortunate Isle is given a chance on his official mark but has shown very little recently. Not a race o get carried away with where Rowan Lodge has the marginal call.
