This may not take much winning so, unless the market speaks other wise, it seems foolish to ignore the claims of ALONG CAME ROSIE. Though penalised for her defeat of subsequent winner Empress Orchid at Newcastle in November, the seven-year-old has been placed in both starts since and that form looks a cut above most of her rivals here. Alexander Road was fourth on her hurdling debut at Leicester and probably has a little scope but bumper winner Tanzanite Bay was well beaten at Ayr last month, though probably needed that run. Etoile Ardent and Hole In One look to have little hope of reversing recent form with the selection but there could be better to come from Lady Ida and Lua De Itapoan now they tackle hurdles.
