My Amigo ran well in the Stewards’ Cup consolation at Goodwood on Saturday but 6f is his best trip. ROYAL SHAHEEN made all dropped back to a mile at Ayr a week ago and never looked like being caught. He may find it more difficult to repeat those tactics here but from an outside draw but should still go close. Jacob Black has already had a very profitable campaign and goes well here so has to go on the short-list. Dasheen and Redarna are recent winners but Weld Al Emarat hasn’t raced since third on soft going at Doncaster in March. Le Chat D'Or may be the pick of the remainder but isn't getting any younger.
Le Chat D'Or 40-1 (9-9) Held up, headway over 1f out, kept on final furlong, nearest finish, 5th of 15, 5l behind Gulf Of Poets (9-7) at Pontefract 1m hcp (4) gs in Apr.
Silvery Moon (IRE) 50-1 (9-4) Always behind, outpaced 3f out, 16th of 17, 18l behind Mikmak (9-1) at Thirsk 1m hcp (3) gs in Aug.
Duck Egg Blue (IRE) 11-1 (9-10) Dwelt, outpaced in rear, headway over 3f out, chased leaders over 2f out, never on terms, 8th of 10, 14l behind Delph Crescent (8-8) at York 1m 2f hcp (4) gf in Jul.
Royal Shaheen (FR) 9-1 (9-7) Made all, ridden over 1f out, held on well, won at Ayr 1m hcp (4) gd in Jul beating Kharbetation (10-1) by 1 1/2l, 9 ran.

Jacob Black 5-6fav (10-3) Dwelt close up, headway 2f out, soon pressed winner, ridden to lead briefly inside final furlong, not quicken towards finish, 2nd of 6, 1 1/4l behind Gabrial The Tiger (10-0) at Musselburgh 7f hcp (5) gf in Jul.
