Dispol Isle looks up to taking this maiden from Skiddaw Wolf and No Commission. The selection made a very promising debut in what was a decent race for its type at York last month, finishing around two-and-a-half lengths adrift of Distinctly Game when an unfancied 50/1 chance. She has been given a nice break to recover from that run and with improvement anticipated she should have the speed to land this and break her duck. Skiddaw Wolf also showed promise in that same York contest before building on it with a fourth behind King Of Love over six furlongs here last time. The concern is that things might happen a bit too quickly for her over the minimum trip but she is not without ability and can make the frame. Of the others, top weight No Commission put up a career best effort to date when beaten two lengths by Shivaree in maiden company at Hamilton last time. That run proved that he handles some juice in the ground, and though the weight concession puts us off putting him up as the winner, he can also make the minors. The selection here though is Dispol Isle.
