This will be a real test of stamina and we will put forward Caroline Bailey's ARNOLD LAYNE to land the prize; The Gangerman and See You There are the others for the shortlist. The selection is a progressive staying chaser and he was entitled to need the run on his seasonal reappearance at Cheltenham last month. He now has that pipe opener under his belt, he will have no problems seeing out this trip and he will also relish the ground so he makes plenty of appeal. The Gangerman won here last time out and he is proven on this surface so he should give our selection a race. His overall strike-rate is only moderate though and he is not sure to be suited by this slight step-up in trip. See You There won well here last time and he will relish this step-up in trip. He had Cadoudalas behind him last time so if he goes well in the previous race race then it will give the form a real boost. The Luder, Bannister Lane and Idle Talk are all capable of getting competitive, but this looks a golden opportunity for the progressive Arnold Layne who should take the world of beating.
